One Day Course
A one-day Safe Working at Height Course designed to give candidates the skills required to keep themselves and colleagues safe when working at height.  This includes the working knowledge of equipment, legislation, practical skills and rescue plans.  
Course content:
•    Legislation, Health and Safety, Planning and Rescue Provision.
•    Equipment selection, inspection, care and maintenance.
•    Harness choice, fit and checks - pre use, after use and LOLER, PUWER, W@H Regs
•    Anchor selection and suitability.
•    Fall protection, types, equipment selection, access techniques.
•    Personal progression at height.
•    Mobile fall arresters.
•    Work Restraint and Work Positioning.  Equipment and techniques.
•    Rescue planning, performing rescues, equipment selection.  Including suspension intolerance, legislation, method statements and risk assessments.
•    Awareness of and rescue of colleague from suspension in harness.  Suspension intolerance. 
•    Use of rescue/reach telescopic poles.

Working at height is required in many industries and remains one of the biggest risks for personal accident and injury across the working environment.  
All work at height must be planned, supervised and performed safely.
