Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service offer four superior conference suites for events and meetings, which also house excellent modern equipment, facilities, and refreshments.

Conference facilities include:

  • Microsoft Teams enabled AV system with cameras and microphones (portable microphones available upon request)
  • Wireless connectivity to AV or must have USB/USC/HDMI ports to enable connectivity
  • Smartphone enables hearing loop
  • Flipchart and pens (available upon request)
  • Water and glasses (available upon request)

We charge VAT to the police/External companies for catering and refreshments supplied, even when they are not hiring a room.

So, just for clarification, everything charged to the police by MFRA, from a conferencing perspective, is subject to VAT, unless it is solely a room hire without AV.
