Dave Mottram is the Assistant Chief Fire Officer of Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
He joined MFRS in February 1998 and has served at a number of locations in roles as a Firefighter, Leading Firefighter, Sub Officer and Station Officer.
In April 2006, he left Merseyside to join North Wales Fire and Rescue Service as a Flexi Duty Officer, Station Manager and subsequently Group Manager. He returned to MFRS in January 2009 as a Group Manager, progressing to Area Manager in 2011 and to Director 3rd Officer in 2014.
In 2019, Dave became Assistant Chief Officer, responsible for Prevention, Protection and Response.
