Location: Priory Road, Anfield
MFRS are in attendance at a fire at a property on Priory Road in Anfield.
Crews were alerted at 6.49pm and on scene at 6.54pm on Thursday, 15th April 2021.
Three fire engines are at the scene.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire involving a first-floor bedroom of a two-storey property.
Crews used hose reel jets and a covering jet to fight the fire; the fire is now largely extinguished with crews having checked for fire spread in adjacent flats and ventilating the property.
Police were also called to the scene for traffic management purposes.
Two people, suffering smoke inhalation, were assessed at the scene by NWAS – one was taken to hospital for precautionary checks. There are not believed to be any further injuries.
