Location: Pitsmead Road, Kirkby
Firefighters were called to a property on Pitsmead Road, Kirkby in the early hours of Friday 26th June.
Crews were alerted at 00.31am and on scene at 00.35am. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the fire.
The fire had been extinguished by 00.52am. Crews then used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property.
Firefighters left the scene at 1.36am.
It is believed the fire started accidentally.
